Dublin Holiday 2017: Day Three

Day three gave us that famous Irish weather, with loads of rain. We decided to take a hop-on hop-off bus tour around Dublin to see some of the sights without having to get soaking wet. It was a bit tough to get good pictures from inside the bus, but I think I managed pretty well. Some of the highlights of this tour included Christ Church Cathedral, and St Stephens Green (taken outside).

Later we stopped off at the Guinness Storehouse, which is honestly like a museum dedicated to the drink. The building had multiple floors including statuettes of various advertising mascots and a circular room with a panoramic view of Dublin. The view was unfortunately obscured by all of the people in the way.

Our final activity that night was the “Gravedigger ghost bus tour” which took us around various “haunted” areas in Dublin and gave us a dark history lesson on the city. Our guides were both dressed in fall garb as both a plague victim and some other sort of corpse. Highlights of this tour included Kilmainham Gaol, and Glasnevin cemetery. The tour was so much fun and I would totally recommend it to everyone!

Three down two more to go. I am having so much fun sharing my trip with you, I hope you are as well. I will be posting day four tomorrow!

Cheers and much love
